Make Up: Red Lips, Grey Eyes [MOTD]

Red Lips, Grey Eyes - Hi everyone! So happy posting another update. So here's what I did for attending my hubby's friend's wedding party at Lumire Hotel, Jakarta.

In this quick post, I'd like to tell you that I did some light grey smokey eyes while having red lippies! Some may say that red lippies don't need any color but your skin's. But for me, I wanted to make some breakthrough that it suits anything that you think it will probably suit.

In my pic, I combined my grey (light near the tear dock and the dark on the outer V) to my red lips. As you see, they just be fine to each other, as long as you don't make it outrageous. Keep them low profile, then you will not lose the attention to your lips.

For the cheek areas, I only put some bronzer. Try not to make it glittery because for me it just will make you heavy, let your red lips do the hard work.

For the clothes, since it was a formal event, I was trying to make it sleek, so I just wore a light gray long dress (the color's similar to my eyeshadow!) combine with a simple print gray blazer. After that, make sure that every line on your lips are as flat as possible to make you appear sleek and classy.

PS: to make that iconic red lips, don't be afraid to get it bold because you don't wanna ruin the whole things on you if you apply it lightly and the color really doesn't come out and not flatters the eyes of people. Be dare to wear more than one layer/one color lipstick because you'll never know how amazing it would be since even the color is called red but it can be the whole thing different for one brand to another. So, what I'm saying about here is to get the perfect combination for your appearance.
